This powerful worship experience kicks off our Pastor Installation celebration weekend with traditional gospel music, spirited praise, and an inspiring message of faith and renewal. Attendees are invited to wear all white attire as we gather in unity for this special revival service before our Community Cookout at noon.

Witness the formal Installation Service for Reverend Carrington G. Moore as the sixth Senior Pastor of East Friendship Baptist Church at the historic Metropolitan Baptist Church, 1200 Mercantile Ln, Largo, MD. This sacred ceremony features guest psalmist Sister Leslie Moore and renowned preacher Rev. Dr. Willie Francois III, bringing together clergy and congregations from across the DMV area. Clergy are requested to wear black and white attire for this traditional Baptist pastor installation ceremony in the heart of Washington, DC.

Conclude our installation weekend with a joyful Pastor & People Celebration Service featuring guest preacher Rev. This special Sunday worship service celebrates the covenant between pastor and people as we embark on a new chapter of ministry and community service together. What is an Installation Service?
A formal ceremony that officially recognizes and celebrates the covenant relationship between a pastor and congregation, featuring charges to both pastor and people, prayers of dedication, and the public affirmation of his calling to serve as our spiritual leader.
What activities will be at the Community Cookout?
You can expect free food, games for all ages, music, line dancing, and time to meet Pastor Moore’s family. No need to bring anything other than yourself! Come as you are!
